Oakstone Builders was founded by Joshua White, a native North Carolinian carpenter, artist, and craftsman. After studying art and sculpture at Brevard College, his work evolved from freelance carpenter to 

full-service custom home builder, general contractor, green building specialist and remodeler. 

Combining the skills of a contractor, the precision of a fine woodworker, and the vision of an artist, Oakstone Builders creates functional, quality, memorable homes and spaces.
